The Deathhroud, or Terminator of Deathhroud, known as the Pale Reapers, Nurgle Scythes or Mortarion Eyes, are the Chaos Terminators of the Legion of Traitors of the Death Guard who serve as elite warriors to the Demon Primarch Mortarion.

Deathhroud warriors are sublimely skilled, swirling and striking with a speed that belies their massive and distended frames. But it's not just their combat skills that they fear. The Deathhroud are Mortarion's hand-picked champions, his dark emissaries, and wherever they go, they carry with them the authority of their progenitor.

The Death Guard are one of the legions that betrayed the Emperor of Imperium, they are now part of the Chaos Space Marines who serve the gods of chaos Nurgle. They are now Plague Marines who rot eternally in their armor and are infected by forms of disease and decay but immune to any pain or slight injury.

To this day, Mortarion's Death Guards launch their assaults through the Cajun Gate and into the galaxy beyond, sometimes in large bodies and other times lending a hand to the allied forces of the Chaos Space Marines.
